Role modelling is imitating the succes we see because we want to be successful. well, if you want your people to be enthusiastic, attenive to detail ,great time managers, hard working, etc... then you have to be enthusiastic, atten-tive to detail, a great time manager ... im sure you have got it.
- The flip-side. You can not ask your employees to do things you are not to be seen occasionally to work late ?Then you need to be seen occasionally working late. want them to meet your deadline? Then keep your deadline with them . want people to show respect for each other in the team? Then you must show respect to everyone-inside or outside the team.
By demonstrating high performance behaviour, you well be challenging your employees to raise their game.You dont have to say, Be more like me .They all soon pick up the message.
